The Pantech C150 is finally hitting the US shores. This slick new candy-bar style phone will be available through AT&T, and already won a 2007 iF Design Award. The C150 is a GSM phone featuring Bluetooth, a built-in camera, MP3, and mobile email. It's also super thin, at just 12.7mm thick. It's available in white, which although popular with iPods and Macs, isn't used too often as a color for mobile phones in the US. Pricing and launch date aren't yet known for the Pantech.

Scheduled to start hitting AT&T stores next month is the new LG TRAX 3G music phone, which allows you to listen to your favorite music while on the go, without missing a phone call.? It's got lots of cool features such as Multimedia Messaging, Bluetooth, and more.? Although it hasn't officially been launched yet, the clever folks at Gizmodo have spotted it at LG's holiday showcase at Christie's Auction House in Manhattan.

To me it looks like just another boring flip phone in the same vein as the RAZR, so I'm not really excited about this one.? But to each his own.? Check out the pic below:

No AT&T iPhone Pre-Sales

attlogoapple.jpg According to some inside AT&T documents leaked online, the Apple iPhone will be launched in the U.S. by AT&T, who will be the only wireless carrier and "will have exclusivity for the foreseeable future". The document also goes on to tout the features of the phone, claiming that the iPhone has "advanced software 5 years ahead of any phone."

The one question on everyone's mind when it comes to the iPhone is when will it be launched. We all know it'll be some time in June, but when? Well, sadly, this document fails to give us a definitive date. It instructs employees not to provide specific dates to customers as the exact date has not yet been announced. Pre-sales are forbidden, and the phone will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The hand-out tells us something else we already knew - there will be two models of the iPhone available, a 4GB retailing at $499, and a 8G retailing at $599. However, employees are also instructed not to speculate any further on pricing. In other words, if there are going to be any discounts for signing a long-term contract, AT&T is keeping it under wraps.

You can check out the document for yourself here.
