This is just an early rumor with absolutely no confirmation whatsoever from HTC or anybody else, but the Fiesta is said to be another Google phone made by HTC.
The Android phone will supposedly be available in Asia, Europe and North America but we have no clue about its features. The Android phone has been found in the Bluetooth SIG so it will at least have Bluetooth support. We won't mind if you happen to have more information on the Fiesta! Just send it over right away!

If I am not mistaking, I believe we told you a while ago about HTC getting ready to release one Android device and one WiMAX device by the end of the year. Well what do you know? We have the HTC Dream or the G1 which is the first Android phone. And now we have the T8290 which is a WiMAX HTC Touch.
From what we can figure out it's a 3.8 inch 480 x 800 WVGA display, WiMAX and GSM support, 802.11g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0.
How much it costs and when it is going to be available it's still a mystery. For now the phone has Russian language written all over it so we're going to wait for HTC official news.

Alltel is the next carrier in the U.S. to launch an HTC device this year. The HTC Touch Pro is their chosen device and it's said it will be coming in the near future. We'd like to know what a near future looks like. What are the prices for an Alltel HTC Touch Pro?
The leaked photo above is the only proof which supports such a launch as there's no official announcement for Alltel. Or Verizon for that matter.
HTC Jade 100 (Touch 3G) Gets FCC Approval

HTC's new PDA phone, the HTC Jade 100 (HTC Touch 3G), has just been approved by the FCC. The phone, which carries FCC ID NM8JDV, indicates in its FCC approval that it supports Band I (UMTS 2100 MHz) and Band VIII (UMTS 900 MHz), making it unsuitable for the US - which means we will never see it on this part of the world. The Jade is essentially the HTC Touch 3G version, and utilizes TouchFLO - a finger-touch optimized navigation.
HTC claims wireless speeds up to 18 times faster than 3G - giving the phone some extreme Internet capabilities. The Jade also lets you zoom and pan web sites conveniently. You can also watch YouTube videos, use Google Maps for mobile and take advantage of the integrated RSS reader for your daily news feed.
Measuring 102 mm x 53.6 mm x 14.5 mm, the HTC Jade weighs in at 96 grams and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. A 2.8 inch QVGA screen and 3.2 megapixel camera are provided. Additional memory can be had with microSD memory cards.

Rumors: HTC G1 to Cost $200 with a Plan

After T-Mobile has confirmed its September 23rd event when the G1 will finally get released more rumors started to surface. Besides features, people are starting to ask around about the price.
One common answer is that the new G1 will come for just $200 provided you get a new plan. There aren't any details about the length of the contract or the rebates that might be in place. We don't even know if we can purchase it unsubsidized.
A $200 price for this HTC device is just in range of the iPhone's price which wouldn't all that bad. Do you know the price? Come on tell me! I won't write about it... today!

HTC Touch Viva aka Opal gets official

Standing by their belief that touch is the way of the future, HTC has announced three new cell phones catering to every segment of the touch-frenzied consumers of today. Of the three, the HTC Touch Viva, which we have already talked about, turns out to be the perfect product for any budget-minded consumer, with a few sacrifices in its specifications compared to the other splendid devices that HTC has announced lately. The Touch Viva's design is reminiscent of the original HTC Touch, a proven winner, but with a few improvements at the expense of losing some. This smartphone is powered by a TI OMAP 850 processor running at just 201MHz helped along by 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, although the touchscreen TFT display still manages to be generous at 2.8 inches with a 240x320-pixel resolution. All the usual connectivity options seem to be included with Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi in 802.11b/g flavor, and network support is limited to quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. The Touch Viva also gets a bump up to Windows Mobile 6.1 compared to the original Touch and gains TouchFLO 3D instead of just good old TouchFLO. A 2-megapixel camera is also added as an afterthought along with microSD support.
The HTC Touch Viva will be available starting next month.
* Processor: TI's OMAP™ 850 201 MHz
* Operating System: Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional with HTC TouchFLO™
* Memory: ROM 256 MB, RAM 128 MB
* Dimensions (LxWxT): 104.5 mm X 59 mm X 15.75 mm (4.114 inches X 2.323 inches X 0.620 inches)
* Weight: 110 grams (3.88 ounces) with battery
* Display: 2.8-inch TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen with QVGA (320 X 240) resolution
* Network: Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
* Connectivity: Bluetooth® 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate and A2DP for stereo wireless headsets, Wi-Fi® IEEE 802.11 b/g, HTC ExtUSB™ (11-pin mini-USB 2.0 and audio jack in one)
* 2.0 megapixel color camera with fixed focus
* Built-in microphone and speaker
* Battery: Rechargeable 1100 mAh Lithium-ion battery
* Capacity: Talk time up to 480 minutes, Standby time up to 270 hours
* Expansion Slot: microSD™ memory card (SD 2.0 compatible)

It's September 14th everyone, which means the HTC Touch Diamond is ready for sale on American soil. Sprint has it for you and if that's the phone you've been waiting for the last three months then go ahead and buy it.
A 2 year contract will get you a special price: the Touch Diamond will cost $250 after $200 instant savings and $100 mail-in rebate. There's no point in me telling you what features the Diamond has. It has already been over discussed. What I am going to tell you before you rush out that door towards a Sprint store is that the Touch Pro is launching on the 19th, so maybe you'll want to wait for that!

By now you already know HTC has a new Touch ready called the Opal. Well strike all that from your memory. The new handset from HTC will be called HTC Touch Viva. I guess Viva is just a tiny bit better than Opal. But not exactly a hit. You'll be able to name it Charlie later on when you get it. Or Wilma, or Stan...
In Europe the phone might be launched on September 30th for a price starting at around €300 or $426. We don't have official news yet but we'll let you know if anything changes in the HTC rumor world.

For some people the RAPH101 is AT&Ts Fuze. The confidentiality report in the FCC's documents shows that Nov 30th is the expected date for unveiling the details. Let us see when this phone finally comes out. HTC is better than Apple...I believe coz I use it. So I am keen to know more about the upcoming model.

HTC's new communicator device is almost here. HTC calls it, the Opal which seems to be a successor to the HTC Touch. Details of the device' features mentioned some good and bad aspects. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and featuring HTC's TouchFLO user interface, the HTC Opal's specifications sheet shows a large 2.8" QVGA resolution touchscreen display.
The HTC Opal appears to offer quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, in addition to built-in WiFi for fast data speeds. The 2 megapixel camera should be able to capture decent photos, and its microSD card slot should offer plenty of storage.
HTC Opal Specifications:

* Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS;
* TI OMAP 850 processor, 200 MHz;

* Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0
* 2 megapixel camera

Bluetooth SIG leaks HTC Rose

More a mystery than a leak, we really don't know much about this device other than what we presume is its codename "Rose." May be HTC knows how to run a tight ship unlike Sony Ericsson and its constant slip-ups. Whether this points to the fabled Android-powered device or another Windows Mobile 6.1 push-over is anybody's guess right now. The only thing certain looks to be its availability almost everywhere when and if it does get released. But now that Bluetooth SIG has given up a name, it won't be long before our sniffers get to the bottom of this flowery conundrum!

HTC Touch Diamond was rumored to be launched by Sprint and Verizon in the USA. We didn't have any clear details as to when that was actually going to happen. We've seen Telus being the Canadian carrier to offer the HTC Touch Diamond and now we have a confirmed American carrier.
According to a recently leaked slide Sprint is going to launch a new HTC device on September 2nd. HTC Touch Diamond will be sold as the HTC MP6950 so we're less than 60 days of seeing it in Sprint stores. We don't have any official prices just yet but at least we have a date to look forward to.

For those looking for some CDMA action in combination with some cool TouchFLO wizardry, you might not have to wait long. HTC's NEON400, which looks to be the CDMA counterpart of the HTC Touch Dual, has come knockin' on FCC's door to undergo some pretty rigorous scrutiny before being let loose into the CDMA world. Except for the CDMA radio, nothing much looks to be changed on the inside with the same 400MHz processor, 2.6 inch touchscreen, 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and a microSD slot all running on Windows Mobile 6.1. Let's hope it comes out unscathed and ready to roll!

We'd like to have our own hands on those models but in the mean time we can offer you other people's experience.
We talked about the HTC since it got officially launched in London last week. Check out these new pictures of an HTC Touch Diamond at work just bellow. They look great right? What do you think? Still unsure between this HTC or the 3G iPhone?

The HTC Touch Diamond just never stops amazing us with its unbelievable specs and its sleek black looks. It was hinted by the HTC officials that there will be a slew of accessories to go along with this awesome device and we present to you the first in that line, the official desktop cradle for the Touch Diamond. The dock carries over the smooth black finish that sets the Touch Diamond apart from others, and the picture implies that the dock can sync/charge the Touch Diamond while you groove to some of your favorite numbers via the included headphones.
The dock is already available for preorder from Clove. Now, if only they hurry up with the release of the Touch Diamond!

HTC Touch Diamond makes it to the FCC

Of all the touchscreen devices lined up for 2008, my favorite would be the HTC Touch Diamond. The device is one step closer to seeing a release date later this year, now that it has come knocking on FCC's door.
As we had reported earlier, the Touch Diamond tops the others with wholesome VGA goodness at 2.8 inches, a refreshed TouchFLO interface, a blazing fast (at least for a cell phone) 528MHz processor, 4GB internal flash memory, and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Yummy indeed.
All we have to do now is to let the FCC do its fiddling and wait for HTC to get it out as soon as they can.

HTC Touch Diamond in Action

I will never get tired of the term "iPhone Killer," but if there ever was one which really hoped to live up to that moniker, it would be the HTC Touch Diamond. The interface is really slick and the 2.8-inch VGA screen looks awesome. Couple that fact with Windows Mobile 6.1, aGPS, some HSDPA/HSUPA goodness, and you have your perfect touchscreen phone. HTC has definitely put in a lot of effort for this do-it-all device, but of course, we never know how Apple might strike back with the 3G iPhone. You have had a look at the pictures of the Touch Diamond, now take a look at it in action!

HTC_Dream.jpgHTC, a member of the Open Handset Alliance, announced that their Google phone in the works is codenamed "Dream." Some specs about the prototype have already been leaked online. Apparently, it's pretty much like the iPhone (as usual), measures 5x3, is thin, and with a rectangular touch screen. The screen is reportedly time-sensitive, allowing you to control a larger area the longer you hold down your finger on it. You don't have to worry about tapping all day on touch screen, because swiveling the screen aside reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. Core smartphone functionalities like email have their icons on the desktop, while every application you launch will exist in the background if it's inactive. The web browser is also capable of downloading files in stages to make the process easier. HTC is planning to take this prototype into production and we can't wait to see if the HTC "Dream" will be a winner or just another iPhone wannabe.
